Focus like Carnegie

Again I’m sitting at my desk at Culver Karate Club in Connellsville and I’m looking out the window at the Carnegie Library.  Hmmmm?  Andrew Carnegie.  He was instrumental in Connellsville’s young history.  Andrew Carnegie was largely responsible for the success of the steel industry in the Pittsburgh and Connellsville area .  I wonder if he had focus?  I wonder if he was lucky?  His mother and father had to borrow money to come to this country and he started working in a textile mill at the age of 13!  He just had focus.  Can you imagine what kind of focus and determination it took to go from a poor immigrant family to one of the richest men in history?

Now what was that?  You say you can’t learn that kata?
