The 3 Most Correct Words

I know the 3 Most Correct Words.   I’ve used them.  Are they some kind of  words of affirmation  NO.  Are they a question? NO.  Are they a prediction about Ben Roethlisberger’s future.  Absolutely NO.  The 3 Most Correct Words are No I Can’t!  Yep, NO I can’t, not yes I can!

There’s a saying, “if you think you can or if you think you can’t you’re probably right”.  Key word is probably.  However, if you think you can’t your chances of being correct goes up astronomically.  If you think you can it still requires work, constant effort and depending on how big or how hard the thing that you think you can do, it may also involve a competition against an equally determined person.

Teddy Roosevelt once said; Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

I’ve heard every excuse in the book and I understand no I can’t but there are times that with just a little more effort, a little more sweat, belief, things that are just out of reach can be achieved.

Don’t give up.  Don’t give in to those 3 rotten little words, no I can’t!
