Karate is like boiling water, if you do not heat it constantly, it will cool

Karate is like boiling water, if you do not heat it constantly, it will cool!
One of the greatest masters in history once said that. What did he mean? Pretty clear statement as far as mystical martial arts masters go. Often times they made statements that took years for you to understand. This simply means, Practice.
Yes again I say practice. Once you get the water boiling it definitely will cool if you remove the flame. Another observation that my go unnoticed is that once water is boiling it doesn’t take as much heat to keep it boiling. If you get it right then you don’t need to practice it as much to keep the water boiling. However if you choose to be great there are many levels of hot. Steam! If you keep the heat to it, it will boil faster and stronger and produce much more steam.
What happens if you keep the heat on high way too long? How would that relate? If you keep the heat up, the water will boil away leaving just the pan which if the fire could be hot enough it would begin to tun the pan into molten steel. Now sensei that would take a lot of heat!
Right! That’s exactly what I mean!
