Did You Win?

Did You Win?

Karate Students should ask themselves that question every time they train.  Did you win the exchange?  Would that block work?  Did that kick work?  Did that punch work?  Not enough to make you work?  Did that technique save your life?  How about your child’s life?  Getting the picture yet?  Sure, shoot baskets, pass ball, shoot goals and not be serious and it doesn’t matter until you get into a real game.  Practice karate so – so and it only matters when that mugger jumps you and you can’t get him off you or you forget that disarm or that throw that may say yours or your wives or your child’s life.

Go ahead and train half heartedly, thank you very much I’ll continue to ask myself, “Did I Win”.
