We all have Brilliant Ideas from time to time. I’ve found the main reason that I don’t follow up on them is forgetfulness. They slip my mind and I don’t follow up. Often times I see other people do the same thing and I think awe nutts, I should’ve done that.
On that note my granddaughter bought me a great Christmas gift. A notebook with Brilliant Ideas on the cover. Some of the best things that I’ve done have been because I’ve written down a Brilliant Idea. Writing down ideas help you remember them. If you then tell someone about them they start to take life, to take form and we start to realize how to accomplish them. I thought about the notebook she bought me and realized it’s a compliment. She must feel that I have something worthy of writing down. I sometimes have a thought or do something that I’ll even say, I should write that down. I don’t and I usually forget it. My wife has told me that I should write down the stuff I teach and say. I’m not sure if she things it would make a good serious book or a good joke book. haha.
You know, everyone has radomn moments of genius and if we don’t record them they fade away, and our Greatness my never come into fruition.
Anyway, now I have the instrument of my genius, my Brilliant Ideas Book. So maybe everyone can enjoy the wisdom of my moments of genius or at least I can remember them.
